Pictures have been released of an abandoned psychiatric hospital and it is probably the creepiest place I’ve ever seen. The Rockland Psychiatric Centre, which is located in Orangeburg, New York was built in 1930 and opened a year later. The pictures show the remains of equipment used at the hospital where it appeared that patients were punished or treated using electric shocks and lobotomies.  [dx_custom_adunit mobile_id=”RTK_F3PL”] It is hard to believe that the remains of the hospital once housed around 9000 patients.
