5. Cersei destroys the Great Sept
Sitting down to the last episode of series 6 – “The Winds of Winter” – I don’t think anyone was prepared for the utter destruction that was about to be unleashed by a vengeful Cersei.
Don’t get her angry
Cersei, of course, had grimes to pick with the High Sparrow, who had pretty much taken control of King’s Landing with his religious sect known as the Sparrows.

After arresting Loras and Margaery Tyrell, Cersei was soon to follow. She was not too happy with the outcome.
Margaery was in too deep this time
The High Sparrow quickly arranged for Cersei to have a follow-up trial alongside Loras. However, Cersei clearly had other plans.

She arranged for stacks of wildfire to be set under the Great Sept of Baelor (the setting of the trial), and set it alight to unleash the devastating consequence.
Watch until the end – utter masterpiece
The High Sparrow and his followers may have met their end, but audiences were also left shocked at the revelation that most of House Tyrell was wiped out in the ensuing chaos. The amazing piece of score accompanying the scene – created by Ramin Djawadi – has gone down as a masterpiece. This is a moment that fans will not soon forget.
