21. Cersei’s repentance
After repenting her sins to the High Sparrow, Cersei was forced in one poignant scene to walk through the streets of King’s Landing. Entirely naked.
Her famous blonde locks of hair had been shaved short, but for the most part she looked resilient.

Until she started to face trouble from the large crowds of people who had gathered to watch.

Viewers watched in disgust and sympathy as random inhabitants of King’s Landing threw dirt, food and spat at Cersei.

Whilst it was true that Cersei had committed many atrocious acts in the past, this was a truly difficult scene to watch.
Truly heartbreaking
By the time she reached the Red Keep, Cersei was bleeding on her feet and sobbing uncontrollably – something we, as viewers, could have hardly imagined ever happening. There’s something about seeing someone so strong brought so slow that’s really sad to watch.
