9. Chepstow

Chepstow may soon be moving down the list, as it was recently announced as the first plastic-free town in South Wales!

Despite this progress, similar action needs to be made in the air, as pollution levels are very high for such a small town!

8. Gillingham

The Kent town of Gillingham is another with dangerous levels of air pollution – most likely caused by car fumes!

Gillingham is just one town in the Medway region that has poor air quality, probably not helped by the relative proximity to the big smoke!

7. Leeds

This Yorkshire town is quite unique as the manager of Leeds United had his squad pick up litter outside the ground for 3 hours!
