Princess Pondicherry (Shelley Conn) – Then
Princess Pondicherry was the wife of Prince Pondicherry, a prince who requested that Willy Wonka make him a palace out of chocolate in India. In spite of the warnings that the chocolate would not withstand the heat, the prince ignored it and woke up one morning to a melted chocolate palace.
Shelley Conn played the character of Princess Pondicherry after attending Queen Mary’s College in Basingstoke and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She has since had a recurring role in BBC soap opera Casualty and recently starred in an episode of Death in Paradise, playing the role of Marina Shepherd.
She also starred in the ITV series Liar as DI Vanessa Harmon, a police officer who also became a rape victim.
