Danny Dyer Net Worth – How Much Is The Eastender Worth?

Danny is the actor with that voice who has gone from rags to riches (or should I say, royal status) in recent years but what is Danny Dyer’s net worth?

Danny Dyer’s net worth is?

The net worth of Danny Dyer is $5 million, which roughly converts to just under £4 million.

Where did it all begin?

In 1977, Daniel Dyer was born in Custom House, east London. His parents split up when he was nine and was raised by his single mum.

The English actor began acting when he was a just a teenager, but lied to his peers about the acting classes as he was being badly bullied at school!

Danny Dyer’s net worth = royal status?

In 2016, Danny starred in the BBC show, Who Do You Think You Are?. In a shocking turn of events, the results showed that his 15 x great grandfather was Thomas Cromwell!

Not only that, his 14 x great grandmother was Elizabeth Seymour, the sister of Henry VIII’s wife. Elizabeth married Thomas’ son, Gregory!

As if that wasn’t enough, the researchers discovered that his ancestry stretches back to William the Conqueror, and subsequently Rollo – AKA the first ruler of Normandy, France.

Hence, Danny Dyer is 197th in line to the throne.

The start of his career…

Danny was first discovered at a school! He auditioned for the role of Martin in the tv series, Prime Suspect 3 (1993) at just 16 years-old.

This was just the start of his appearance in tv shows, for example, he has also starred in Family Business, The Bill and nowadays has a recurring role as Queen Vic landlord, Mick Carter in Eastenders.

It is a role that has been challenging for Dyer, and it looks like those problems won’t be stopping anytime soon. Danny has just revealed that he has:

‘got some really powerful stuff coming up with Kellie [Bright] and stuff [he[ can’t talk about at the moment but it’s good. Mick is going to go through some really [big] mental health issues, that’s all [he] can say’.

Eastenders viewers already know that the Carters’ youngest son, Ollie will shortly be diagnosed with autism. Will the two be linked? Only time will tell.

Hollywood hunk…

It’s not just appearances on television that have helped Danny Dyer achieve his net worth, he has also starred in numerous movies. As can be expected, the majority of his roles are as ‘bad boys’ or ‘hard men’.

His first ever movie role was as Moff in the 1999 film, Human Traffic. He has also acted in Goodbye Charlie Bright (2001), Run For Your Wife (2013) and most recently in the 2015 movie, Assassin.

Danny was the lead role in the movie, Run For Your Wife. However, the film did horrendously upon its release – only taking £747 in its opening weekend! One critic even called it:

‘one of the worst British films of all time’.

What else has bumped up Dyer’s net worth…

Yet another ways that Danny Dyer’s net worth has increased is by his involvement in theatre productions; most notably Celebration (2000), No Man’s Land (2001-2002) and The Homecoming (2008) – both by Harold Pinter.

Danny has also starred in the productions, Certain Young Men (1999) and Kurt and Sid (2009).

Last year Danny starred in the musical version of the hit festive film, Nativity!. Alongside no other than his daughter, Dani Dyer, of all people!

Danny’s voice has been used in video games. He was the voice of character Kent Paul in the 2002 video game, ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City’ as well as its 2004 sequel, ‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’.

In 2007, it was disclosed that Danny would be becoming the chairman of Greenwich Borough FC, which would be appointed by fellow actor Tamer Hassan – the pair even starred together in the 2004 film, The Football Factory.

Discussing the opportunity, Dyer said:

‘I just love football and the chance of being involved with a club is like a dream come true’.

However, it turned out that the announcement had been a publicity stunt for the football team.

Danny’s personal life…

At the moment, Danny lives in Debden, Epping Forest, Essex.

He started dating his wife, Joanne Mas, all the way back in 1992, when he was just 15 and when he was 18, the couple’s first child, Dani was born in 1996. The couple’s second daughter, Sunnie was born in 2007 and their son, Arty was born in 2013.

However, Danny only asked Joanne to marry him in 2015! The childhood sweethearts married in September 2016.

It wasn’t all fun and games though, as in 2017 it was revealed that Danny had had a six week affair with Run For Your Wife co-star and Girls Aloud band member, Sarah Harding.

It doesn’t appear that the affair has affected his marriage to Joanne though, as the pair are as loved-up as ever.

Danny or Dani…

Danny’s daughter, Dani Dyer (yep, named after him – is it strange having two member of your family with the same name?) has become a celebrity in her own right recently, after starring in the 2018 series of Love Island.

How could ANYBODY forget what a cute couple Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham made? The pair were strong from the start after the wannabe actress picked the pen salesman over… can anyone even remember his name?! The pair went on to win the show and that £50,000 prize money.

Of course, the proud dad that he is, Danny was watching the show every night. Even tweeting along!

Unfortunately, it looks like the pair couldn’t maintain their relationship outside of the villa and broke up. For Dani to run back to her ex before she went into the villa… #awkward.

Talking about their break up, Jack said:
