Throughout Knight Rider’s first two seasons, K.I.T.T. was based on an F-bodied Pontiac Trans Am including minimum changes, and it was costumed up by Universal’s prop department.

However, the car’s major change was the red strobe lights to give the car “life” as it was communicated with Michael.

But that’s about it. There’s nothing else that really makes K.I.T.T. stand out from a standard Trans Am.

Which mean’s there’s nothing stopping you from recreating the car yourself!
