Lopez was nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe award back in 1998 for her starring role in the Latin film, Selena. This performance was actually Jennifer Lopez’s breakout role after she transitioned from music to acting. In the same year, Lopez also starred alongside Jack Nicholson and Stephen Dorff in thriller, Blood and Wine.
