He was the town’s mechanic who owned his own shop and much of his business came from fixing up The General Lee.
This car took a lot of work!
He was the typical grease monkey that also happened to be very close with the Duke boys.

That’s mostly because they were able to keep him in business by fixing up their car all the time!
He’s was a dependable friend to the Dukes.
Without him, the biggest star of this show (The General Lee) would have never made it back on the road!

It took everything he had to keep up on all of the repairs that it constantly needed.
He was always riding around with the Duke boys.
Probably because he had to listen to the engine that always threatened to give out due to being overly abused.
