Amir Khan’s wife is Faryal Makhdoom. They met when Faryal was just 19 when a mutual friend introduced them to each other. At the time, she was studying a dual degree in political science and journalism at Rutgers University School of Arts & Science.
Faryal was born in Brooklyn and her parents own a beautiful holiday home on Staten Island – so she’s an American at heart.
In 2012, Amir and Faryal exchanged rings at an engagement party with 1,000 guests. The year after, they held their wedding in Faryal’s home city at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York – spending £1 million.

However, this year, Amir Khan’s wife revealed some surprises on an intimate Instagram Q&A. When asked what she would change if she could go back 10 years, Faryal replied: “I would change the age I got married. I was too young to have gone through the s**t I did.”
Faryal added that she would have finished law school and enjoyed her youth more.
Since getting into a relationship with the famous boxer, Faryal has transitioned to being an influencer, and entrepreneur.
She owns her own makeup brand, Shop Faryal, and has close to 1 million followers on her Instagram account – which has just recently been made private.

So, we know where Faryal Makhdoom and Amir Khan started out, but how has their relationship gone since they got married?
Well, everything seemed to be going well with the couple for a few years. Their first child, a girl called Lamaisah, was born in 2014, a year after they married.
By 2016, though, Amir Khan’s wife was in the middle of a vicious family feud. Faryal claimed that her in-laws, Sajjad and Falak Khan, had bullied her. She said they objected to a picture she had posted on Instagram and had demanded that Amir divorce Faryal.
Things got even more heated in 2017 when Faryal and Amir began sending angry messages to each other on social media.

On Twitter, Amir Khan wrote: “Left my family and friends for this Faryal. I’m not hurt but another fighter. I’m making it public. You getting the divorce #Golddigger”
Faryal responded with a series of tweets claiming that Amir just wanted attention, hadn’t been helping with childcare costs, and had cheated on her.
By 2018 though, the pair reconciled again as Faryal gave birth to their second daughter, Alayna.
Their third child, Muhammed Zaviyer Khan, was born in 2020, and Faryal has suggested that the couple won’t be having any more kids.

In pictures from the early days of her relationship with Amir Khan, the socialite and influencer looks very different. Sporting her natural hair colour, petite lips, and natural brows, many have said that she must have had plastic surgery over the years.

Amir Khan’s wife hasn’t addressed her changing look outright. However, Faryal Makhdoom does share a doctor with Kim K, and she’s been open about her love of fillers.
She said: “I like high cheekbones. I’ve never had plastic surgery. Fillers and plastic surgery are two different things and I want people to understand that.
If other women had this money and if they had a husband who was famous, they would do it, too. If I wasn’t married to Amir Khan, I’d probably be a regular girl and I might not do it.”
So, while she may not have had plastic surgery, it’s true that Amir Khan’s wife has had some work done to alter her image.
