Love Island’s Anton Danyluk – Hated To Fan Favourite
Love Island’s Anton Danyluk went from hated to fan favourite throughout his time in the villa. The Scot appeared on the saucy reality show in 2019.
He, along with partner Belle Hassan came fifth, just narrowly missing out on a spot in the grand final.

Who Is Love Island‘s Anton Danyluk?
Anton – who owns a gym in Scotland – became the first Scottish contestant on the romance reality series. Describing himself as ‘funny’, ‘motivated’ and ‘hard-working’, the sculpted lothario ruffled a few feathers in his first few days on the island.
After many unsuccessful attempts to couple up in the villa and a severe knock to the ego, poor Anton was starting to give up hope on finding love. He got pied by Lucie, Anna, Molly-Mae and Elma but somehow managed to keep himself in the line up after being saved by friends.

The fun-loving Scot kept us laughing but also showed he had a sassier side when he put islander Molly Mae in her place. Meeeeooowww!
Love Island’s Anton Danyluk And Belle Hassan
Just when Anton thought he couldn’t take another pie, in walks his perfect woman; tall, blonde, sassy Belle Hassan – a 21-year-old makeup artist from Bromley who is also the daughter of actor Tamer Hassan.
The pair had a turbulent relationship in the villa after Anton’s ‘banterous’ errors. The gym buff found himself in the doghouse on more than one occasion after kissing fellow islander Anna during a challenge and then pretending to give his number to a Spanish shop assistant.

Love Island: Anton Getting Cheeky With The Checkout Girl
When Anton and fellow islanders Jordan and Tommy made their way to the supermarket for a shopping spree, Anton cheekily left his ‘number’ with an unsuspecting Spanish shop assistant. Unfortunately, this joke turned sour when Belle didn’t see the funny side.

Anton Kisses Anna During The Snog, Marry, Pie Challenge
Anton was already treading on thin ice after the supermarket incident but after the ‘snog, marry, pie’ challenge, he fell right into ice cold water.
After choosing to plant one on Anna during the challenge, Belle saw red and even though Anton got down on one knee to propose, she wasn’t having any of it.

How Can We Forget That Infamous Row?
The aftermath of the ‘snog, marry, pie’ challenge was extremely bitter to say the least. Belle was still fuming over Anton’s decision to snog Anna right in front of her and she made sure to tell him how she felt.
It looked like the pair were officially done after a blazing fight in front of all the other islanders. Yikes!

Belle And Anton Were Dumped Just Before The Final
Belle and Anton’s love island journey came to an end when they were voted out by fellow islanders Molly Mae and Tommy Fury. The ‘betrayal’ ignited a war between the couples and things got even tenser when the islanders were reunited in the studio. Anton’s unfollowing of Molly Mae on social media was addressed publicly and awkwardness ensued.
Anton defended his actions claiming that he and Molly had ‘never really talked’ in the villa, saying:
‘Molly and I never even spoke in the villa. We never had chats. I have nothing against you but we never saw eye to eye.’

Molly told host Caroline Flack:
‘I was shocked because I hadn’t even got my phone back yet and the first thing I’d seen was that Anton had unfollowed me.
‘Obviously everyone’s entitled to follow and unfollow who the hell they wanna do. It’s not bothered me but I was just a little bit shocked. I don’t feel like I would necessarily have done that to him just because we didn’t really speak that much in the villa so I don’t really know why it happened.’
Since then, things have remained frosty with Belle and Anton being absent from many of Molly Mae’s launch parties.
Belle and Anton Shock Split Five Weeks After Leaving The Island
Five weeks after being dumped from the villa, Anton and Belle decided to call time on their summer romance.
The reason was reportedly be down to Anton’s partying and womanising ways. An insider revealed to The Sun that:
‘Belle has seen all the pictures and videos of Anton in Ibiza and now just wants out. She feels he’s disrespecting their relationship and can’t see him changing his ways.
‘She feels he’s disrespecting their relationship and can’t see him changing his ways.’

The insider added:
‘His obsession with Craig David also made her feel awkward. He seemed to be more excited about reuniting with Craig than speaking to her.’
Is this the end for Banton? Does anyone call them that? No?
Love Island’s Anton And Belle Rumoured To Be Back Together
In October, Belle and Anton sparked stories that they had got back together following a night out with Love Island couple Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan. Lucie’s instagram story revealed Belle licking Anton’s abs in what appeared to be part of a drinking game.
However, Anton said aloud:
‘Just friends!’
He did also reveal to The Sun that the pair definitely still had chemistry and a reunion wouldn’t be taken completely off the cards.
