Tilly Keeper: What Has She Been Up To Since Eastenders?
Tilly Keeper is best known for playing Louise Mitchell but what has the BBC soap star been up to since her departure from Eastenders?

What is her background?
Matilda Keeper was born on August 16th, 1997 in London. She is the daughter of Peter and Amanda – the former of which is a writer for the show, Spitting Image.
She started taking ballet lessons at the age of four and went on to take acting classes too.
Tilly’s time on Eastenders
In December 2015, Tilly was cast as Louise, the daughter of Phil Mitchell (played by Steve McFadden).
Warning, there’s about to be some Eastenders spoilers; Louise had a turbulent time whilst part of Albert Square.
After getting caught up in some trouble at school, Louise was involved in an accident on prom night which caused her to be left with third degree burns on her upper body.
She also becomes involved with one of her father’s employees, Keanu Taylor (played by Danny Walters). The pair have a complicated relationship which is further complicated by pregnancy. Initially, Louise considers an abortion, but after talking about motherhood with her cousin Lola – who is also a young mother to daughter, Lexi – she decides to keep the baby.
Louise gives birth to a daughter, Peggy Taylor, named after her grandmother.
However, unbeknown to Louise and Phil, Keanu has been having an affair with Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) – Louise’s stepmother!
Sharon also gets pregnant by Keanu and gives birth to their son, Kayden, on the night that her other son, Dennis, drowns.

Her departure from the BBC soap opera
Tilly left the show in 2020 but it wasn’t just her departure from the soap opera that she was part of.
After discovering about Keanu’s affair with Sharon, Louise lashes out at the father of her baby but agrees to runaway with him.
However, what Keanu doesn’t know is that Louise is setting him up for murder along with her father Phil and half-brother, Ben. Louise is under the belief that Keanu has been killed by Martin Fowler, but he let Keanu get away.
The guilt of her inclusion in her baby daddy’s death is too much for the teenage mum, who breaks down to her own mother, Lisa.
Louise has no idea that Keanu is still alive and agrees to flee to Portugal with her mum, dad and daughter.
She even tells Phil,
‘Ben has a reason to stay. I don’t’.

Her next acting role
Eastenders star Tilly Keeper is next starring in a BBC Three drama, Make Me Famous. The show will explore themes of social media, fast fame and self-confidence.
Speaking about her role, she said:
‘I’m thrilled to be a part of this project. It’s a really important story that I think we could all learn something from’.
The television film has been created and written by Reggie Yates and also stars Tom Brittney, Amanda Abbington and Aiysha Hart.
