Kori Sampson: What Do We Know About the Netflix Star?

If you’ve seen Netflix’s reality show Too Hot To Handle, then you’ll certainly know who Kori Sampson is. He shot to fame virtually overnight when he entered the infamous villa, where all contestants have to remain celibate if they want to take home the $100,000 prize money.

Since then, Kori Sampson has tried his hand at other reality shows and became an Instagram hit. But what else do we really know about Kori Sampson?

Well, here’s the low-down on the reality star…

Who is Kori Sampson?

Let’s start with the basics, in case you really don’t have a clue who Kori Sampson is. He rose to fame on the first series of the brand-new Netflix reality show Too Hot To Handle in April 2020.

The show was conceived as competition for other popular villa reality shows like Love Island or Ex on the Beach, except that in this villa, there’s no sex allowed.

Kori Sampson wasn’t one of the original housemates on Too Hot To Handle – he entered in episode six. Originally from Plymouth, England, at the time, Kori was working as a model and a personal trainer.

He had previously worked at his local PureGym and in his 24 years, he’d also amassed over 100,000 followers on his Instagram.

Announcing that he was joining the inaugural series of the Netflix reality show on Instagram, Kori said: “So mans gonna be on Netflix next Friday. Secret’s finally out the bag! I am gasssssed.”

What Is He Doing Now?

He might have boasted over 100,000 Instagram followers when he first joined Too Hot To Handle, but Kori Sampson is now a real influencer. He’s now got almost 900,000 followers on the site!

As a reality TV show alum, Kori has joined the lucrative world of influencing and has prominent collaborations with BoohooMAN. It’s been suggested that during his time on Too Hot To Handle, he made over £400,000 from Instagram ads.

Kori also uses his social media to show off his travelling. He regularly spends time in Dubai, as well as visiting his home city of Plymouth now and again.

But he hasn’t forgotten about his lost career as a personal trainer. Kori recently released a book called My Lean Lifestyle and is set to launch an online coaching service soon.

You can also catch Kori on reality TV again, as he’s joined the cast of season 2 of Celebrity Ex on the Beach. Other contestants on the show include Love Island‘s Kaz and Geordie Shore‘s Nathan Henry.

Though Kori has made his career out of appearing on dating shows, he’s not had much luck in that department. In fact, Kori is single at the moment and appears to be focusing on his career.

He pursued both Chloe and Francesca while on the Netflix show, but things didn’t go as planned and he was eliminated in the finale with no girlfriend.

What Happened to the Other Too Hot To Handle Contestants?

But what happened to the other Too Hot To Handle contestants? Well, let’s begin with Kori’s almost-conquests on the show: Chloe and Francesca.

Chloe Veitch is now also a bonafide Instagram and reality star. She boasts almost 2 million followers on Insta and has starred in the reality shows The Circle and Celebrity Hunted.

She also recently met back up with Kori Sampson on an episode of Eating with My Ex – where it was made very clear that the two don’t think they’ll ever get together.

And Francesca Fargo? She has the most followers of any Too Hot To Handle castmate, an incredible 5.8 million.

Francesca has branched out into entrepreneurship since appearing on the show with her own clothing label, Farago The Label. She is also single after a short-lived engagement to her co-star Harry Jowsey.

Finally, what about eventual winner David Birtwistle? He actually left the villa in a relationship with Lydia Clyma. Since then, though, the two have mutually broken up.

But David managed to find love again, this time with doctor and lifestyle influence Hazel Wallace, who goes by @thefoodmedic on Instagram.

They’ve only been officially together for a short while, but things appear to be going very well – they’ve recently taken trips to Dubai and Australia together.
