Greg Gisoni is Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni’s husband. Melissa is Maddie Ziegler’s mother. However, this doesn’t mean that Greg is Maddie Ziegler’s father.
In fact, Maddie Ziegler’s dad is Kurt Ziegler. He was married to Melissa until 2010 when the couple got divorced.
Now, Maddie and Mackenzie are closer to their step-dad, Greg Gisoni. He married Melissa in 2013, bringing two children of his own into the marriage.
But what does he do for work? In fact, Greg Gisoni works in engineering in Pennsylvania. Currently, he is Vice President of Westinghouse Electric Company, a large electricity company.

Maddie Ziegler’s biological father made headlines in 2010 during his divorce from Melissa. According to some outlets, Kurt was caught in an intense custody battle over Maddie and Mackenzie.
It’s clear from documents obtained by Radar that it was Melissa who filed for divorce from Kurt Ziegler. In the eventual divorce settlement, the parents agreed to share custody of Maddie and Mackenzie. But Melissa retained primary custody.
Later, Melissa filed to retain all custody over Maddie and Mackenzie, saying she was “sole financial support.”
In 2017, Melissa was finally granted sole legal and primary custody of Maddie and Mackenzie. Now, the girls see more of Greg Gisoni than their father.
Maddie has said: “I don’t see much of my dad, I live with my stepdad, who’s awesome. He’s like my best friend. I usually see my dad on holidays, like Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.”
What is Maddie Ziegler Doing Now?
Her Dance Moms fame meant Maddie Ziegler wasn’t short of projects after she left the reality show in 2016. Most famously (and controversially), Maddie formed a professional relationship with singer Sia, starring in a number of her music videos.
Maddie achieved global fame for her performance in the video for ‘Chandelier’; she was even nominated for a Grammy for her dancing in the video.
The reality star has continued working with Sia, starring in ‘No New Friends’ in 2019 and ‘Together’ in 2020. Maddie also controversially appeared in Sia’s debut feature film, Music.

In the film, Maddie played an autistic character called Music. However, autistic viewers criticised Sia for casting a non-autistic person in the main role and for insensitive scenes in the film.
However, Maddie didn’t let the criticism deter her from her acting career. Last year, Maddie also appeared in the main role in the high school drama film The Fallout, and in a supporting role in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story.
Maddie is also busy in the fashion world. In 2020, she launched her third collection with athletics brand Fabletics.
On her love of acting, Maddie has said: “When I was younger, I was just like, ‘Oh yeah, dance til I die. That’s it. That’s my path forever’…Then one day it kind of just happened where it consumed me and I was like, ‘I want to be an actor just as much as I want to be a dancer.'”

This year, Eddie will support Justin Bieber on his world tour.

The pair reportedly started dating in 2019, but have kept things relatively quiet until now.
Maddie discussed her relationship with Entertainment Tonight, saying: “I feel very excited every day that I get to date him. We have such a good time together and we were best friends for a really long time before we dated.
It’s like I’m just hanging out with my best friend every day…It’s honestly the best. I love it.”
We reckon that the creative couple has a very exciting future ahead of them.
