Kenan Thompson Wife: Everything You Need To Know

Kenan Thompson started his career on the Nickelodeon show Kenan & Kel, and now he’s a global star.

The comedian famously appears on Saturday Night Live and has also hosted events like the Kids’ Choice Awards and the People’s Choice Awards.

After 30 years on TV, you might think you know everything about Kenan. But did you know he’s been married for over 10 years?

Here’s everything we know about Kenan Thompson’s wife, Christina Evangeline.

Who is Kenan Thompson’s Wife?

Kenan Thompson married model Christina Evangeline on November 11th, 2011. That means that last year marked their 10th wedding anniversary.

According to sources, the pair were introduced by the talent manager Danny Estrada. There was an instant connection between the two, and after dating for some time they decided to get married.

When they tied the knot, Kenan was 33 and Christina 21. By this point, Kenan had been a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live for over five years – so he was already an established celeb.

The couple chose a unique location for their wedding, marrying in the Arctic Room of the George Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia, where Kenan grew up.

At the time, a source close to the couple said: “[They’re] very happy. They’ve lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends. She was thrilled and a beautiful bride.”

But what does Christina Evangeline do?

Actually, Kenan Thompson’s wife works as an interior designer. Kenan has even joked that their shared apartment is “dope” thanks to her stellar design skills.

However, Christina has also dabbled in modelling and had a small role in the short comedy movie Mini Supreme in 2015.

Kenan Thompson’s Children

After three years married, Kenan Thompson and his wife made the big decision to start a family together.

Their first child, Georgia (her name a sweet nod to Kenan’s home state) was born on June 22nd 2014.

Four years later, Christina gave birth to their second child, another daughter named Gianna.

That makes Kenan’s children now 7 and 3 years old.

The comedian has since opened up about his experience being a dad. He said: “I think the biggest wake-up call is how immediate it is. One day you’re not a dad and then the next moment you are. You’re just a dad from that point on.

And definitely, my coolness just got sucked right out of me. I didn’t know … I didn’t even feel it, but I just immediately started wearing black socks and shorts and just being really corny at stores and over-asking questions about items that are super obvious and in my face.”

What is He Doing Now?

Kenan Thompson continues to perform regularly on Saturday Night Live. In fact, the comedian is now the longest-tenured cast member in the show’s history.

In recent years, Kenan has also branched into film, voicing characters in animated movies like Trolls World Tour and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

But this year, Kenan has made another leap into scripted TV, playing the lead in the eponymous show Kenan.

Everything You Should Know About Owen Wilson’s Wife!

The series follows Kenan Williams, a widowed father of two daughters who works as a morning show host. It follows Kenan as he recovers from his wife’s death and has to deal with drama at home and work.

The show debuted in February 2021 and was such a hit that it was renewed for a second season that aired in December.

On the creation of the show, Kenan has said: “What if there was a guy struggling with the love of his life not being in his life anymore, and what that would look like? And how do you still make that a sitcom? I thought that would be intriguing to watch.”

However, the pilot didn’t go down so well – the network said it was too sad, and needed to be made funnier and more upbeat.

Executive producer Lorne Michaels explained: “We found what was good about it and also what I thought the show needed more of in terms of a comedy ensemble because it is a comedy show. Yes, it will have emotion. But these [emotions] are coming mostly because you think it’d be funny.”
