Joe Budden was born to parents Joseph Budden and Fay Southerland, and is currently 41-years-old.

Joe moved to Jersey City, New Jersey at the age of thirteen with his mother and older brother.

Here Joe attended Lincoln High School, but he had little to no interest in school and as a result dropped out at a young age.

He Immediately started abusing drugs, and in 1997 was sent to rehab by his mother who was concerned for his well-being.
