Whether you love him or hate him, there’s no doubting that Jeremy Clarkson is one of Britain’s biggest TV stars today.

He launched his career with Top Gear in 2002, and since then has found an army of fans through The Grand Tour and, more recently, Clarkson’s Farm.

After being in the public eye for so long, it would make sense that we know about Clarkson’s family. However, before the start of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan wasn’t well known.

So, what do we know about Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan?

Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan

Lisa Hogan is a former actress and model. Her IMDb page lists just one acting credit, though – 1997’s Fierce Creatures, a comedy about a zoo starring John Cleese in the main role.

She has been married once before, to the billionaire Baron Steven Bentinck. She has three children with him, but the couple split in 2005 and got divorced in 2011.

We don’t know exactly how long Jeremy and Lisa have been together. While some pin the beginning of their relationship on their first outing as a couple, the GQ Men of the Year Awards, they may have been dating for some time before that.

However, we do know that Jeremy meeting Lisa also coincides with his giving up cigarettes and losing weight.

Since then, the two have gushed about each other, with Jeremy Clarkson saying of his girlfriend Lisa Hogan:

“I am so proud of Lisa. How she has gone from – how can I put this politely – a sedentary and rather luxurious life to find herself living on a farm where she didn’t know anyone.

The ordering and keeping the place stocked – I don’t know how she does it.”

Lisa has also revealed that it is Jeremy’s humour that attracted her to him in the first place.

Does Jeremy Clarkson Have Children?

Before Jeremy Clarkson met his current girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, the TV star had actually been married twice before.

In 1989 he had a short-lived marriage to Alex Hall. She left him for one of his friends just a few months into their marriage.

Later, in 1993, Jeremy married his manager Frances Cain, with who he eventually had three children. They are Finlo, Katya, and Emily.

However, in 2014, Frances filed for divorce. Before the divorce, they had been living separately for three years.

John Bishop Wife: The Truth About Their Relationship

Apart from appearing at a few public events with their dad, Finlo and Katya prefer to stay out of the spotlight. However, that’s not the case for Emily Clarkson.

She is a prominent Instagram influencer with over 200,000 followers and also runs a successful blog. She released her first book in 2017, Can I Speak To Someone in Charge?

In the past, Emily has publicly argued with her dad. After Jeremy criticised climate activist Greta Thunberg, saying, “be a good girl and shut up”, Emily seemed to reference him in a scathing assault on Twitter.

Replying to comedian John Bishop’s tweet, Emily said: “Wouldn’t it be nice if all middle-aged blokes could talk to and about Greta, the ballsy af teenager out there changing the world, like this.”

Clarkson’s Farm

This year, Jeremy Clarkson found additional fame with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan with the release of their show Clarkson’s Farm.

The show saw Jeremy trying to turn his Cotswold land into a functioning farm during the pandemic. Jeremy bought the land in 2008, but only took an interest in the crops that were being grown on the land in 2019.

Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan joined him on the show, taking over the running of the farm shop and generally trying to assist him.

The shop – Diddly Squat Farm Shop – has become something of a craze, with people queueing for hours to shop at the famous farm.

Speaking about her role on the farm, Lisa said: “I think Jeremy wanted me to move down here full-time. But if he’d said that to me I might have just said no. I said I would do it but I want to be able to do what I want to do in it.”
