Jamie Oliver has been on our screens for over 20 years now, fronting famed cooking shows like The Naked Chef and Jamie’s School Dinners.

In that time, viewers have also caught glimpses of Jamie Oliver’s children, who are frequently part of his cosy, ‘at-home’ cooking segments.

He and his wife have been married since 2000, and since then have been busy growing their little family.

But exactly how many kids does Jamie Oliver have?

Jamie Oliver’s Kids

Jamie Oliver has five kids with former writer and model Juliette Norton, or ‘Jools’ as she’s usually known.

Their first child, Poppy Honey Rosie, was born in 2002, two years after the model and chef married. She is now studying at university, with both her parents penning emotional messages on Instagram on her departure from home.

Jamie Oliver’s kids continue with Daisy Boo Pamela, who was born in 2003. Daisy has just turned 18, prompting more messages from mum and dad.

Their third child was Petal Blossom Rainbow, now 12. She was followed by Buddy Bear Maurice, their first son, who was born in 2010.

Jamie and Jools took then had an empty six years with no new children, before River Rocket joined the family in August 2016.

On his fifth birthday earlier this year, Jamie Oliver posted an adorable message to little River. He said:

“Happy birthday to my darling baby River !! Happy birthday Oh what a tonic you are to this Bonkers world we live in !! Your amazing Happy birthday son may your dreams all come true sweet boy.”

Jamie and Jools

Before Jools and Jamie Oliver had kids, they were just childhood sweethearts in their small Essex town.

They met when they were just 17, with Jamie going to great lengths to secure Jools’ affection. Jools even revealed that Jamie had written a stack of love letters to her when they were just teens.

She posted a stack of the letters on Instagram, saying: “When I was 17 I worked in Tokyo for three months and every single day Jamie sent me a letter or a fax without fail! These are only half of them… brought back just the best and happiest memories.”

Who would have thought that 28 years later they would have five children together?

However, Jamie Oliver could be expecting more kids in the future. Recently, Jools has opened up about her journey to motherhood, and how she hopes to have one more child.

In fact, Jools is considering IVF to have her sixth child, owing to her history of miscarriages. In total, Jools has suffered five miscarriages.

She explained: “It is made much worse because Poppy is going to university and because I think, oh, there you are, there’s a room free, I’m sure that’s a sign.

Now I’ve got the older and the younger [groups of children] and I’ve got River, I think you know just one more, life’s all about pleasure that just gives me so much pleasure.”

We’ll just have to wait and see what Jamie thinks and whether the Oliver’s will really welcome a sixth child to their brood.

Jamie Oliver’s Kids in 2021

We know that eldest daughter Poppy has jetted off to university, but what about the rest of Jamie Oliver’s kids?

Well, we do know that the family were locked down together in their £6 million Essex mansion during the pandemic. Jamie Oliver recently said that his kids were “the best antidote in the world.”

And no, Jamie hasn’t had another child, but the Oliver family has grown by one more this year. The Olivers recently gained an adorable dog called Conker – and Jamie’s kids are already attached.
