Well, actually, Phillip Schofield was born in 1962, making him 60 years old. In fact, he recently celebrated the big milestone – his birthday is on the 1st of April.

He marked the occasion on Instagram by sharing some of the presents he received for his 60th. His wife Stephanie Lowe gave the presenter a heartfelt painting displaying all of his career achievements.
His two daughters also gave their dad a sweet personalised painting with all of their favourite things displayed.
Despite being in his 60s now, Phillip Schofield also found an adventurous way to celebrate his birthday. The presented has just returned from a skiing trip where he was joined by famous actor Luke Evans and entrepreneur Kelly Hoppen.
He posted a series of pictures to Instagram that showed him enjoying some downtime from filming This Morning, getting skiing lessons and enjoying the apres-ski lifestyle.
Who is he married to?
Phillip Schofield married his wife Steph in 1993, and the couple now has two daughters: Molly and Ruby. They are both grown up now, at 28 and 26 years old respectively.
They met when Stephanie was working for the BBC as a production assistant and Phillip was a children’s presenter for the channel.
Now, though, Steph doesn’t work in television, and Phillip announced why that is. He said: “She worked in television years ago, that was how we met, so she can do it, she just doesn’t want to these days. She will only film with me. She got more into it as we went along.”

Neither of his daughters has decided to follow their father into television, either. Eldest daughter Molly lives in London and works as a talent manager for YMU Group.

Younger daughter Ruby studied psychology at Leeds Beckett University and now lives in London. It’s unclear what she does as a job, but we know that she once did an internship at her dad’s employer, ITV.
Coming out
In February 2020, the presenter made headlines when he made the brave decision to publicly come out as gay.
In a personal Instagram post, Phillip Schofield announced: “You never know what’s going on in someone’s seemingly perfect life, what issues they are struggling with, or the state of their wellbeing – and so you won’t know what has been consuming me for the last few years.
With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay.”

When Chris Evans asked on a podcast when he would stop wearing his wedding ring, Phillip said: “That is a very good question, Chris. I don’t know. Because I am still married to Steph.
It is not in my nature to hurt people and so I have to reconcile myself with the fact that I have done that. Indeed I have done that and I tried very hard not to. I also say, is it possible to come out and not hurt your wife? No of course it isn’t. My greatest concern is that she is okay.”
