Mary Moody has been working as a cam girl for almost five years now, but over the last year her online popularity has skyrocketed.

This is in part thanks to TikTok and Instagram, where she now posts additional content alongside streaming on sites like PornHub and OnlyFans.

But what do we actually know about Mary Moody? Here’s everything you need to know about the adult performer.

Who is Mary Moody?

Mary Moody (incidentally, not her real name) started working as a cam girl in March 2016. She’s now a professional adult performer, who alongside working on webcam shows also films professional porn.

The 29-year-old lives in California with her two dogs, Suki and Kuma, and mainly produces videos from her home. She does live cam shows four days a week and also takes care of editing her videos.

Her boyfriend, Justin Case, often appears on camera and helps out with filming and tech for Mary’s cam shows.

Mary has also spoken about the general amount of support she receives from her boyfriend.

She said: “I really hadn’t had a relationship before where I felt my goals were important to my partner. It was honestly a bit of a shock to me how much Justin supported my work, and that’s one of the reasons I love him.”

Mary Moody is honest about what made her want to choose a career in sex work. “Money,” she told her Instagram followers.

She went on to say: “I wanted to work for myself, from home. I looked into different ideas of a business I could do myself. The work I do now allows me freedom and control over my own life.”

Last year, Mary received recognition for her work when she received a PornHub Award for Favourite Cam Performer.

She has also won the XBIZ Award for Female Cam Model of the Year.

How Much Money Does Mary Moody Make?

So how much money can Mary Moody make as an adult performer? Well, Moody often makes $1,000 to $2,000 per month just on PornHub alone.

In fact, Mary Moody is one of PornHub’s highest-ranking performers.

Though Mary hasn’t revealed any other details about her earnings, it’s possible to get an idea of her salary.

According to one manager of adult performers, a female performer could earn up to £800 per scene. Salaries increase depending on the performer’s popularity and notoriety – and Mary Moody is certainly one of the biggest stars around today.

But Mary has had to be inventive with how to diversify her content since the pandemic.

In order to produce new videos, Mary has every room in her house cam ready. The couple has one room set up as an office and one storage room, while in the rest of the house, everything is always camera ready.

The performer has also described how it’s been to work alongside her boyfriend. She said:

“Since I haven’t been filming with other sex workers during COVID, having Justin here helps me keep my content fresh.”

Campaign against PornHub

Earlier this year, PornHub announced a change that was set to impact a large majority of sex workers on the site. Credit card companies Visa, Mastercard and Discover all blocked payments on the site, leading to uproar from adult performers.

Mary Moody was one of the biggest performers to speak out against the move and started a campaign to raise awareness of its impact.

She said: “Suspending Visa and Mastercard payments only prevents consensual adult sex workers from earning money on the site.”

In a video posted to Twitter with the hashtags #VisaVictims and #MasterCensors, Mary continued to speak out about the change. The performer explained that while everything she does is legal, the groups had decided “to just take away my income.”

Other adult performers called the move a “war on porn.”  Sex worker Allie Awesome said:

“Attacking an industry that is largely comprised of people who occupy marginalized identities is always shameful

But it’s particularly awful in the middle of a pandemic when a lot of people are turning to platforms like Pornhub in order to pay their bills.”
