Daniel Edgar love life:

While things seem to go pretty well for the fearless fisherman, things haven’t always been easy for Daniel Edgar.

Daniel was married twice. He shares two sons, Joey and Dwaine, with his first wife, Juanita Thomas Broussard, and a daughter, Danielle, with his second wife, Mandy.

Daniel was married twice, with his first marriage collapsing under the pressure her was under to provide for his family.

He shares two sons, Joey and Dwaine, with his first wife, Juanita Thomas Broussard, and a daughter, Danielle, with his second wife, Mandy.

Daniel Edgar’s dedication to being out hard at work all the time left some scars on both his marriages.

Of course, it is not easy for any family when a parent has to be away from home for long periods of time.

Often one parent effectively becomes a single mother or father, while the other desperately misses home and family life.

Daniel Edgar has been very candid about these hardships in past interviews.

He told International Magazine Kreol: “I worked seven graveyards and I shrimped during the day. The only sleep I got was a little cat-nap at work.”

He also told the publication that he and Juanita parted ways because of the lack of time they spent together.

Juanita went on to remarry a man named Russell Broussard.

However, there is no bad blood between the two, and Daniel has described as a “good, solid gentleman” in the past.

Tragically Juanita passed away in March 2018, aged 68, leaving her children behind.

Daniel’s second wife:

Daniel’s workaholic nature got the better of him once again, with Daniel Edgar putting the breakdown of his marriage to second wife Mandy to work.

He said they separated due to the fact they constantly found themselves unable to maintain a good relationship.

They simply had too much work to do to spend time with one another.

Daniel Edgar said: ”Back then, we were open seven days a week. From five in the morning till eight at night. It was just too many hours. She worked very hard, but it got to the point where she just couldn’t do it anymore.”

However, the sadness of his past relationships coming to an end didn’t stop him cracking a joke.

“We’ve always managed to pay the bills and keep the kids fat,” he joked.

Founder of his own company:

Things sure took off when Daniel founded his own company, St. Mary Seafood & Marina, in 1986.

He also co-founded Louisiana Bait Products, an agricultural products wholesaler launched in 2011.

Things weren’t always plain sailing before the gator hunter’s rise to fame, but he made it clear the family always got by.

“We’ve struggled – like any business it’s not always good, but we’ve always managed to pay the bills and keep the kids fat. I guess that’s all you can do.”

Daniel’s kids:

Daniel’s son Joey and grandson, Dorien, played a key role in keeping the business afloat, and Daniel has always been grateful for his family.

However, Daniel’s son Dwaine took another path, pursuing his career as a talented athlete.

Dwaine temporarily left the family home to pursue an impressive career as a baseball player. In 1994, he was drafted by the New York Yankees.

This meant he was often absent from taking care of the family business spearheaded by Daniel Edgar.

However, his lucrative career meant he was able to help his family financially when needed.

His net worth has not been disclosed, but several online sources claim he has a nice net worth of $400,000 from his seafood business.

Since then, the family have gotten back together, all becoming TV stars.

Joey, Dorien, and Dwaine, have all starred in Swamp People.

However, Mandy’s daughter, Danielle, has yet to make an appearance on the show.

Though if her famous family are anything to go by, we sure wouldn’t rule it out!

Not much is known about Danielle, but we do know she is married and has kids of her own.
