Daisy May Cooper is an English actress and writer.
We all know Daisy from the hilarious British mockumentary sitcom, and if you haven’t seen it you must have been living under a rock!
Daisy’s performance of the iconic Kerry was so popular she won the 2018 BAFTA TV Award for Best Female Comedy Performance.
She played Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three series This Country, which she co-created and co-wrote with her brother, Charlie Cooper.
The programme follows two bored young adults Kerry and Curtain, who are stuck living in the countryside where there is nothing to do.
The show shows a very British sense of humour, focusing on the trivialities of human behaviour, and what it’s like for young people living in small communities in rural England.
Feeling bored and socially isolated Kerry and Kurtan often end up getting into trouble with elderly members of the community and wreaking havoc.

Off screen, Daisy May Cooper seems to have a bit more of a life than her character Kerry.
However, some elements of This Country are based around her early life.
Growing up in the small market town of Cirencester, Gloucestershire, there wasn’t much for Daisy and her siblings to do.
Later on she graduated from drama school at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
However, after one role as a young mother in ITV series Doc Martin she returned to the West Country, working as a cleaner with her brother Charlie.
For a while the siblings lived together – their experiences would later form part of the writings for This Country.
Daisy May Cooper husband:
Daisy May Cooper was briefly married.
She married her long-term partner, Will Weston, on 21 September 2019.
The couple have two children together.
Daisy doesn’t hold back her feelings online and perviously told how she couldn’t be happier with Will.
She wrote: “I am lucky to have found my soulmate.”
Daisy went on to reveal she had got married when she paid tribute to her co-star and childhood friend Michael Sleggs.
Michael died in July 2019 of heart failure at the age of just 33.
Kerry and Michael had worked together on the set of This Country, with Michael having played the character of Michael ‘Slugs’ Slugette.
Daisy wrote at the time: “It’s me wedding tomorrow and this one was going to be one of my bridesmaids in a white suit.I miss you so much and I will miss you so bloody much tomorrow. Thank the lord for slugs x.”

Daisy May Cooper and her husband went on to have two children together.
The actress announced the birth of her son Jack on Instagram last September and gushed that he was “absolutely perfect”.
The couple were congratulated by famous friends including Fearne Cotton, Katie Piper and Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure.
The Kerry Mucklowe star announced her second pregnancy on Instagram by sharing a picture of her ultrasound scan.
Daisy captioned her post at the time: “Thrilled to say me and @willwestonlandscape are expecting another babber.”

Sadly, in July 2021, it was reported that Daisy May Cooper had separated from her husband.
While many details of the divorce remain private, reports claim that Daisy is said to have grown “tired” of her marriage to her partner, amid the pressures of the coronavirus lockdown.
A source told The Sun: “Daisy said she had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will. They ended things for good earlier this year. She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over. She has also removed Will as a director on her media business. It’s been a tough 17 months for everyone and Daisy and Will were no exception.”
The source also said the couple are both devoted parents to their children Pip and Jack.
Daisy May Cooper new man:
In February this year, Daisy May Cooper went public with her new man.
She met her new parter Ryan, who is a chef, last year.
Ryan is a private chef cooking on yachts, at pop ups and events and performing cooking tutorials.
Not a whole lot is known about him as of yet.
However, they looker super loved up on their first appearance on the red carpet.
They stepped out together for their first public appearance at the NME Awards at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

Things seem to be getting pretty serious as Daisy recently showed off her
first-ever tattoo – Ryan’s name – placed conspicuously on her ring finger.
