Chris Rodstrom is currently 71 years old. She was born in Maryland. His father was a Navy captain and his mother was a Navy nurse. Which, is how the two of the parents met initially.
Her Education
As for her education she has an impressive background, she graduated with a Masters in psycology and then went on to qualify as a family therapist. She has always been such a devoting wife, and although her education was extremely important to her – Pat always came first. And, it is no secret that behind a great man is always a great woman. And there is no difference this time. It was thanks to Chris Rodstrom that Pat Riley could be come the star he turned out to be. Without her, he may never have had the same opportunities.
Her Sacrifices
And so, for a while while she was studying she actually dropped out of school while Pat was working shift patterns so that she could support him. She did go back to school to finish and of course continue to higher education. But, her support of Pat has always been admirable since the very start of their relationship. And for this reason he was able to continue to do what he did best.
Then, after being a therapist for a few years and the pscychology career she had worked so hard towards, her husband needed her again. Due to his full time career, again she chose to put hers on hold while she temporarily quit to give her full time to her husband and allow him to continue.

She married her husband Patrick James Riley, most commonly known as Pat. This, is where her fame came from. Since marrying the popular sports personality she was suddenly thrown into the spotlight. Pat (now 75 years old) was an American basketball player who played for the National Basketball Association (NBA) teams San Diego Rockets from 1967 to 1970.

Then he played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1970 to 1975, and continued on to the Phoenix Suns 1975-1976. Aswell as this impressive caree he was also a head Basketball coach with a very successful coaching career. He trained the proffessional teams such as the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and the New York Knicks.
He actually won five NBA Championships during his time as head coach. As well as this he has continued to be the president of the Miami Heat team since 1995. Considering his massively successful career it will come as no surprise that he has a huge fortune. It turns out that the retired NBS star is worth a massive 80 million dollars.
How the two of them met
It’s a pretty romantic story, as are all the stories which start by meeting one another at University. Chris Rodstrom attended the University of San Diego. During this time Pat Riley was playing for the San Diego Rockets. This was back in the year 1967/1968. And, after their initial meeting the two of them started dating.
While Pat Riley was coaching back in 1981, Chris Rodstrom his wife to be became his assistant. As well as this, he was actually coaching Los Angeles Lakers when she joined his squad.

They stayed together for several years and in 1970 they decided to tie the knot and get married to one another. the two of them have had a very happy life and have been known as a strong and consistent couple throughout their married life together. Now the two of them have been married over 50 years together and they remain as strong and as in love as ever. In fact they have become known as one of the celebrity power couples due to their unwavering devotion to one another throughout thick and thin.
Their family
One of they key points to their relationship is that they have been unfaillingly supportive of one another and their endeavours. The couple have two children together. One son called James and a duaghter called Elizabeth. The family are extremely close to each other and they maintain a strong bond despite the fact that the children are grown up now and have long since flown the nest. Elizabeth is now married. We do not know the details of the children due to the fact that the whole family maintain a very low profile as they prefer to keep their private lives private.
