Channing Tatum Girlfriend: Who is the Star Dating?

Anyone who’s seen Magic Mike knows that Channing Tatum certainly shouldn’t find it hard to find a girlfriend. The actor has proved over his career that he can do humour, drama, and intense choreography (you know exactly what we mean).

All this means he’s a real catch – and in fact, Channing Tatum has had a few girlfriends over the last 20 years. But who is he dating now?

Here’s everything you need to know about Channing Tatum’s girlfriend, and his past relationships.

Who Is Channing Tatum’s Girlfriend?

Channing Tatum’s girlfriend is actually Zoë Kravitz. While the two supposedly met way back in 2017, it’s taken a few long years for them to actually get together.

Back then, they both had voice acting roles in The Batman Movie. However, it’s unclear if they ever actually met while making the movie.

They weren’t like again until 2021 when Zoë invited Channing to star in her directing debut, Pussy Island. In June 2021, she revealed:

“I just knew from Magic Mike and his live shows, I got the sense he’s a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter.”

However, their relationship clearly went from professional to personal pretty quickly. In August 2021, just months after they started work on Pussy Island together, they were spotted getting cosy in NYC.

Later, in September, Zoë and Channing left the Met Gala together – though they walked the red carpet separately.

Up till now, the pair still haven’t fully confirmed their relationship publicly, being deliberately evasive. So, is she really Channing Tatum’s girlfriend?

All the evidence points to yes. Zoë’s stepdad Jason Momoa has even got in on the conversation. At the premiere for The Batman earlier this year – in which Zoë played Catwoman – Jason was asked if Channing would be there.

He joked: “Hopefully he’ll be here. Or he’s in trouble.”

Was He Married?

If you’re wondering if 41-year-old Channing has been married before, then the answer is yes.

On the set of his first blockbuster movie, Step Up – the one that catapulted him to stardom – he met Jenna Dewan. The two struck up a romance and eventually got married on July 11th 2009.

Four years later, the couple announced that they were having their first child. Everly was born on May 30th 2013.

However, in 2018, after close to ten years of marriage, Channing and Jenna announced they were separating. In a heartfelt Instagram post posted jointly, they said:

“Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”

While Channing hasn’t spoken publicly about the reasons for their split, Jenna Dewan spoke honestly about her feelings in her book. The actress admitted that the two had decided to get a divorce the night before she started filming her TV show World of Dance.

In her book, Jenna admitted: “I’d come to realise the dynamic I was in wasn’t serving me nor was it serving my daughter. First and foremost, I had to accept the realisation this isn’t working and had moved into hurting.”

More Famous Ex-Girlfriends

It seems that Channing Tatum has a thing for celebrity girlfriends, as his ex before Zoë Kravitz is also a world-famous star.

Between 2018 and 2020, Channing Tatum’s girlfriend was British singer Jessie J. The two met shortly after Channing’s divorce from Jenna.

However, their relationship wasn’t completely smooth sailing. They split briefly between December 2019 and January 2020 before getting back together again.

Jessie wasn’t quiet about her relationship, posting pictures of her and Channing together all over her Instagram. In one Story, she posted a throwback to a holiday picture with the caption “Missing this cuddle machine.”

Channing also showed support for his girlfriend’s singing career. He posted after Jessie J’s show at The Royal Albert Hall, saying: “This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow”

However, it seems that their busy lives once again took precedence, as by April 2020 the two were no more.
