The Gottis are one of the most notorious American mobster families around.
While the former boss of the family John Gotti passed away in 2002, his relatives still make the headlines from time to time- including his son in law Carmine Gotti Agnello.
So what do we know about Carmine and his family?

Carmine Gotti Agnello, also known as “The Bull”, has landed himself in hot water a LOT over the years.
To start things off- he assaulted Victoria Gotti, who is the daughter of John Gotti. The mobster boss quickly took things into his own hands and had Carmine beat with a baseball bat, as you do.
But Carmine Agnello eventually married Victoria, making him an official Gotti. Her parents weren’t exactly overjoyed though.
The couple ended up having three sons together; John, Frank, and Carmine Agnello Gotti Jr. But their dad wasn’t exactly a role model for his sons…
The infamous mobster was arrested numerous times; he’d been convicted for everything from criminal mischief to assault. He was also later charged for racketeering and arson.

Carmine Gotti Agnello was in and out of prison at this point, but his next crime saw the mobster put away for a fair few years.
He’d been running a dodgy scrap metal business, and used fire bombings to scare clients to sell him scrap metal at a cheaper price. He was in prison from 2001- 2008, and his wife Victoria divorced him during that time.

Carmine Gotti Agnello may sound intimidating- but he’s nothing on his former father in law.
John Gotti was the head of the Gambino family- one of the five most notorious mobster families in NYC.
John Gotti came to power after he ordered the current Gambino boss, Paul Castellano, to be murdered.
He managed to keep himself out of prison for a good few years before his right hand man was arrested, and gave the police the details of his crimes.

Now their enterprises include loansharking, extortion and money laundering.

When he turned 18, Carmine Gotti Agnello Jr featured in the reality show Growing Up Gotti, which focused on the younger family members as they tried to distance themselves from their notoriety. However, this backfired when his mum Victoria Gotti became the favourite of the show…
His mother’s remarkable attitude towards her battle with cancer won the family armies of new fans, who were keen to see what the Gottis would get up to next.
Carmine Gotti Agnello Jr went on to star in another reality show, But Can They Sing?, which allowed him to showcase his singing talents. He’d made no secret about his desire to be a singer, and this definitely put him to the test!

But just when it seemed like the mobster’s son was going places, he ended up hitting the headlines after he ended up in court for operating an illegal scrapyard– just like his father…
He managed to avoid prison after making a plea deal with the judge, and Carmine was given a $1,000 fine.
His lawyer Stephen Mahler said his client was a legitimate businessman who was caught in between licenses.
He stated:
“His licence had expired and he’d already been approved for a new one”.
It turned out that Carmine’s licence had run out in 2016, but he’d actually withdrawn his new application shortly afterwards.
