Andrea McLean is a Scottish journalist and television presenter who worked on ITV Daytime.
She was a weather presenter for British news channel GMTV from 1997 to 2008, before becoming a a co-presenter on ITV’s daytime chat show Loose Women.
Andrea decided to walk away from her role as a Loose Women panellist after a nervous breakdown and global pandemic forced her to reconsider her priorities.
She will be returning to the show soon for the first time after she quit the role 13 years in.

Like many partners of celebrities, Andrea Mclean’s husband Nick Feeney is a businessman who enjoys a life largely out of the spotlight.
Nick studied at Thames Valley University, and started dating Andrea back in 2015.
Nick is the Managing Director and Founder of One Night Stand.
Andrea Mclean’s husband Nick has a company that leases Glamping Pods for sites and landowners looking to start or expand their glamping business.
How Andrea met Nick:
Andrea Mclean and her husband initially met on a blind date set up by a Loose Women make-up artist.
She told the Daily Express earlier the relationship that things were going “really well” and they were “taking it slowly” with their romance.
She said: “It’s really handy living with a man. I’d forgotten how nice it was to have somebody around to help out. When you’re a single mum you get used to doing things all on your own… And you’re perfectly capable but it is nice to have another pair of hands to help out.”
The news of Andrea’s engagement to now husband Nick came as a surprise to many fans.
The former GMTV weather presenter had previously said she wasn’t interested in marrying again.
She had already split from two previous partners and has multiple children.
However, a year prior to her engagement with Nick, Andrea Mclean admitted she’d changed her mind about finding a husband again.
She told the Sunday Mirror: “For a long time I said never again to marriage but now I wouldn’t say that.”
How Nick change Andrea’s life:
It seems Andrea Mclean is quite the romantic, having previously credited her husband glamping mogul Nick with changing her life.
She told Hello magazine: “I never thought I’d feel like this again, that I’d fall in love and get the chance to start a new life. It’s been a revelation to him, too. And because we make each other so happy, it’s changed our lives. So many people have commented on how much more positive I’ve become since I met him. Thanks to Nick, I’m no longer looking backwards, I’m looking forwards.”
Andrea Mclean marriage to Nick Feeney:
Andrea Mclean and husband Nick Feeney announced their engagement in early August 2017.
The British TV star was over the moon, and took to Twitter to share her good news with fans.
She even gave them a glimpse of her huge sparkly diamond ring.
Looking wonderfully happy, the TV presenter snuggled up to Nick for a photo and told fans she was “beyond happy”.
Andrea captioned her sweet image: “Something happened….”
She added a string of hashtags including “engaged”, “he put a ring on it”, “beyond happy”, “excited” and “love is in the air”.
Nick posted the same image to Instagram with the caption: “Soooo happy Andrea said ‘yes’.”
The wedding day:
That same month of their engagement, Andrea Mclean revealed that she and her now husband Nick tried to get married on holiday in a spontaneous fit of passion.
But sadly, the ceremony didn’t go ahead as Andrea and Nick found that running away to get married abroad is harder than it seems.
Speaking on Loose Women she said: “We wanted just the family to be involved. And we were on holiday, and with the kids, so we thought, ‘Why not?’ But it turns out to elope, you actually have to be boring and plan it!”
They tied the knot in November 2017 in a stunning wedding attended by a whole host of celebs.
The Loose Women star was supported by friends including her fellow panellists Stacey Solomon, Nadia Sawalha and Linda Robson.
On her wedding day she took to Instagram, writing: “I’m so happy that from today Nick and I will be walking through life hand in hand, side by side”
While Andrea has said her wedding was a dream come true, she admitted the ceremony didn’t completely go to plan!
Andrea Mclean and husband Nick had just said their vows when celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston, a judge on Britain’s Next Top Model, jokingly interrupted the ceremony.
A clip from the wedding was shown to Loose Women viewers, with Andrea explaining: “When it got to that bit – ‘Does anyone here know any reason?’ – he went, ‘Well, actually…’ We laughed and the lady went, ‘Stop the wedding!’ The whole thing ground to a halt and she said, ‘This is a legal binding ceremony and you have just said that there is a reason why these two should not.’ And he was going, ‘No, no, no I was only joking!'”
