Believe it or not, BD is now 61 years old. And he’s had quite the career during his many years in Hollywood!
Bradley Darryl Wong has starred in a huge array of films, most notably the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, as well as Mulan and Bird Box.

His performances have won him plenty of critical acclaim; he won a Tony Award for his role in Broadway’s M. Butterfly, and a Critic’s Choice Television Award for his performance in Mr Robot. This also earned him an Emmy nomination.
But BD doesn’t let the fame go to his head.
“Part of the reason why people become celebrities is to make change.
Being a celebrity is a two-way street. I really don’t like the whole fame, being recognised on the subway thing. I didn’t sign up for that. What I did sign up for making a difference.”
The actor is passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, and donates a lot of his time and resources to LGBT charities. He’s also an activist for HIV/AIDS awareness, and a board member of children’s theatre group Rosie’s Theater Kids.
But despite the demands of his hectic work, BD manages to live a quaint life in NYC with his now-husband Richert Schnorr.
The actor also has a son named Jackson Foo Wong with his ex-partner Richie Jackson.
Partner
While BD and Richie aren’t together anymore, they happily co-parent Jackson, who is now in his early twenties.
This means that the Mulan star can spend more time with husband Richert, who’s been in his life for well over a decade.
Like his husband, Richert Schnorr is a bit of a highflyer himself. He’s the director of digital media for the New York Library, and styles himself as a “multidisciplinary content creator with over eleven years of experience telling stories across digital platforms” according to his LinkedIn.
Apparently BD and Richert met at a singles night in New York City back in 2010, and the couple have never looked back.

Together they’ve built up quite a fanbase, and followers are besotted with their cute updates on Instagram.
Penning a heartfelt caption to his husband on their anniversary, Richert uploaded a loved up snap with BD and wrote:
“A couple weeks ago, the Times did a piece following BD as he got ready to present at the Tonys. The lovely @anrizzy took these gracious and honest photos, which I’m sharing because three years ago today BD and I got married …
So it’s nice to have this strong, creative, funny, quirky, talented man around no matter what. Keep an eye on the comments where he will say something awful. Love you @wongbd.”
We have to admit- we absolutely adore them both!
Wedding
After spending eight years together, BD and Richert finally decided to get hitched.
In 2018, the couple exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony in Brooklyn, and held a reception with celebrity guests.
Scissor Sisters queen Ana Matronic served as resident DJ for the big day, while The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle gave a very special performance for the happy couple.
