So, who exactly is Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend?
Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Eleanor Calder is a model and fashion blogger. If you have a thing for fashion and all things pretty, her Instagram is where you can go for inspiration.
Eleanor is 28 years old and she is what you might call a social media influencer, with an impressive 3.4 million followers!
Before this, she moved away from her home in London to the University of Manchester to study sociology.
And now, she is reported to be living in London with Louis.
When did they start dating?
The couple’s history dates back all the way to 2011 when they first started dating. Fans loved them, even referring to the couple as ‘Eleounor’.
It all looked like it was going really well until Louis and Eleanor split in 2015. then 2 years later, they got back into a relationship and has remained together ever since.
The split was reportedly due to Louis’s hectic work schedule forcing them apart for long period of time.
During the split, Louis fathered a son, Freddie, with his close friend Brianna Jungwirth in early 2016.
Freddie currently lives with his mum in Los Angeles but spends time between the US and the UK.
How did Louis Tomlinson and his Girlfriend meet?
Who do we thank for this stunning power couple? It seems there are a couple of different theories.
One was that fellow One Direction member Harry Styles was a mutual friend who introduced them.
And the other was that it was Eleanor’s friend from university who had connections with One Direction’s management.

When Louis and Eleanor got back together in 2017, rumours of wedding bells begun immediately.
However, Louis told The Sun:
“Yeh I saw some of that. It isn’t true, but the luxury with Eleanor is I’ve known her since before our first single What Makes You Beautiful, so she’s felt the whole growth of everything.”
Are they engaged now?
While they prefer to stay out of the limelight, the pop star does mention his girlfriend in interviews every now and then and it’s adorable.
For instance, in 2018 when he mentioned a link between his song ‘Back To You’ with his relationship with Eleanor.
Then in another recent interview, he shares the vision of his future with Eleanor saying:
“One day, yeah, I’d imagine so. If you’re asking me if I’m going to marry her? Yes, I think so! And more kids, I’d say so.”
So there you have it! Seems we were a little too ahead of ourselves but at least now we know that there may indeed be wedding bells soon!
