The Nokia 3310 was THE phone to have. The screen only made up about 1/10 of the phone, it weighed about 8kg and you had to triple tap to get some letters, BUT we wouldn’t change our memories of it for the world.

So, to bring all those nostalgic feels back we’re taking a trip down Nokia memory lane with some iconic memories from the classic Nokia 3310…

1. You Could Use It Constantly And Only Have To Charge It Once A Week

These things were made of absolute STEEL. Unlike our phones these days, the Nokia had some stamina!

2. It Was Called A ‘Brick’ For A Reason

They might have held battery well, but you did get an arm workout every time you held it…

3. Playing Snake II At Any Chance

We’ve all got to agree on the fact that Snake II was the best mobile game there ever was, haven’t we? There was nothing quite as addictive…

4. The Raised Buttons Meant You Could Text In Your Pocket

Another good thing about the Nokia, was that ‘accidental’ texts were NOT a thing- texting was hard enough when it was intentional, never mind accidental.

5. Having To Delete Messages To Make Space For New Ones

I can’t sing its praises in the storage department. I swear you couldn’t have more than one message in your inbox at a time. I mean, not that many people were texting you back then, but…

6. Having To Triple Tap Just To Type Some Letters

How annoying was this? And the buttons were minuscule, making texting an absolute task.

7. Its Vibrations Were SO Strong

There’s one thing for sure- you didn’t miss an alarm on this bad boy…

8. Adding A Charm To The Corner

Let’s be honest, they weren’t the prettiest looking things- so spicing it up with a cute little charm really was a saving grace.

9. Using It So Much The Buttons Were Faded

It came a point when you literally had to do the maths to work out which key to use for a certain letter. Ah, the days before touchscreen…

10. You Probably Upgraded To The Motorola Razr, But The Nokia Was Always In Your Heart

Nokias were a thing of the past as soon as these beauties came on the market. I’d still have one of these today if they were a thing, to be honest…

Which was your favourite Nokia 3310 memory?
