Tracy Beaker Returns To Our Screens With Daughter In New BBC Series
From screaming at Elaine the Pain and telling Justine Littlewood to bog off, Tracey Beaker caused all kinds havoc at the Dumping Ground. But now she’s all grown up and got a family of her own, including a daughter Jess, there’s a new show on BBC – My Mum Tracy Beaker.
The 11 year old Jess is played by actress Emma Davis and the show follows the ex Dumping Ground inmate Tracey and the loving bond she has with her daughter as they face financial hardship.
The official synopsis reads: “Their lives are drastically changed with the arrival of Tracy’s rich, new boyfriend, Sean Godfrey. He secretly admired Tracy when they were young and when he was simply known as ‘Football’.
“Now recently retired and with all the trappings of a successful football star, he tries to whisk them away to a life of palatial mansions and fancy cars but, when everything starts to go classically Tracy Beaker pear-shaped, can Jess save the day?”
