Nando’s Launches Plant Based Chicken Burger TODAY
Today is the day that Nando’s are launching their very own plant-based burger made from a meat alternative.
However, vegans of the country – don’t get too excited – it’s prepared on the same grills as the chicken.

Dubbed ‘The Great Imitator’, the burger is made entirely from pea protein. Unfortunately, the restaurant chain can’t guarantee against cross contamination because of the way it’s prepared and cooked, so it’s been marketed for flexitarians who are looking to cut back on meat, rather than for strict vegans.
