The pair, who take residency in Le Harve, paid around €6000 for a Savannah cat after seeing an online advertisement. Unfortunately, when the cat arrived, they realised it wasn’t a cat, but a baby tiger.

A Savannah cat is a cross between a wild serval cat and a domestic cat and they are legal to own in France, whilst a tiger is not legal to own as they are protected by the CITES treaty.
