What Is Tess Daly’s Age?
Helen Elizabeth ‘Tess’ Daly was born on April 27 1969 in Stockport – making the TV star 51.
Tess was waiting for her younger sister, Karen, outside a McDonalds when she was scouted for a modelling agency.
Just a few weeks after she turned eighteen, Tess set off on her first modelling job and never looked back.
Her modelling career saw her visit Tokyo, Paris, London and star in not one music video but three for Duran Duran and The Beloved.

Tess Daly: Strictly Host & What Else?
Tess and her Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman (previously Bruce Forsyth) are known for the dancing show but Tess has presented lots of other TV shows.
For example, one of her first jobs after modelling was a co-presenter on SMTV Live, Sports Relief and Children in Need!
She also worked with her husband Vernon Kay on the BBC show Just The Two Of Us. The series saw professional singers and celebrities come together in a duet and battle to be crowned the winners.

Who Is She Married To?
Tess married Family Fortunes presenter Vernon Kay in September 2003.
Tess and Vernon have two daughters: Phoebe and Amber, however, it has not been smooth sailing for the couple. Vernon has been caught in a number of sexting scandals with Rhian Sugden – a Page 3 girl. The Strictly presenter has never commented on that aspect of her marriage, but has cryptically said:
‘There are so many highs with children to celebrate. It’s the good times that keep you together’.
Nowadays, the pair are seen on the red carpet together and Tess often shares rare insights into their home life on her social media.
