Some of our favourite throwbacks have actually worked themselves back in to our makeup bags and on to our faces, but some of them (fortunately) have stayed where they belong, in the past.

This makeup trend was pretty hideous and it did nothing for us, in the slightest. We just looked like we were suffering from a mild case of anemia.

To be honest, this one has made a bit of a comeback since the ’90s. It’s a trend again these days for MUAs to use a darker liner with a paler nude gloss or lipstick- we can’t see this one going anywhere soon…
9- Putting 13 Layers Of This On…
Admittedly it did feel nice on our fingers, but one the face was a different picture. It clung to dry patches like nothing else. We all also went for shades darker than our skin which gave us a terrible streak where our face ended and neck started. Why did nobody ever tell us to BLEND DOWN THE NECK?!
10- Blue Mascara Was Life…
We felt SO edgy when we rocked up to school on own clothes day with electric BLUE mascara on. I mean, they still sell it these days, but it still remains quite the statement…
