Who Are Chris And Rosie Ramsey?

Chris Ramsey is a comedian and actor, know for his stand-up shows and appearances on Strictly Come Dancing. The couple tied the knot back in 2014, in Newcastle. Talking about their engagement, Rosie said:

“Chris proposed in the living room the day that he got home whilst we were watching a film in our pyjamas, he asked me to go fetch him a cup of tea from the kitchen whilst he decorated the living room with candles, it was so simple yet so perfect.

“We went round to our parent’s house half an hour after to share the happy news and opened a bottle of bubbly!”

Where Do Chris And Rosie Live?

Rosie and Chris live in South Shields just a couple of miles away from Newcastle upon Tyne. They live with their son Robin, who Rosie often snaps on her Instagram. The couple speak openly about the reality of their life as parents and all the challenges that come with it. So, naturally, they have both been nominated for celebrity mum and celebrity dad of the year.

The couple appeared on Lorraine, in 2018, bravely talking about having suffered a miscarriage. Speaking to Rochelle Humes, they shared in the hope to provide comfort to others going through the same grief.

At the time, Rosie shared the news on Instagram, saying:

“When we went for our 12 week scan our baby could not be found. He or she had passed early on in the pregnancy leaving behind the pregnancy sac, this is called a Blighted Ovum. (missed miscarriage) My body still thought I was pregnant for all those weeks after the baby had passed, hormones were released and everything.”

In a recent Instagram post the couple have shared the news that they’re expecting their second child. Rosie posted a snap of herself, husband Chris and four year old son Robin holding their 12-week scan.

How Much Is Chris Ramsey Worth?

Between tours, Strictly Come Dancing, and of course, those lucrative, lucrative sponsors on the Podcast, Comedian Chris Ramsey’s net worth is around £6 million. About half of James Corden’s net worth.

Becoming more and more popular, Chris has hosted The One Show and sold out gigs across the country. On Comedy Central, he had his own show called The Chris Ramsey Show. His wife, Rosie, even appeared on the show interviewing WWE Superstar John Cena and Hollywood actor Lesley Mann.

Sadly, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the government closed theatres. As a result, the couple recently announced that they have postponed their Shagged, Married, Annoyed. The podcast tour will start next May, kicking off at Wembley.

And if you can’t get enough of the podcast, there is even a Sh*gged, Married, Annoyed book coming out in September. As the description goes:

“This is not a self- help book. This book contains absolutely no advice that you should follow yourself.”

Luckily for us listeners, the podcast is still going out every Friday. That gives us something to look forward to during this loco lockdown…
