Emily Rose is a 19 year old American teenager who dies as a result of self-inflicted wounds and malnutrition following an attempted exorcism.

Catholic Priest, Father Richard Moore is then arrested and put on trial for his role in the girls death.

The priest pleads not guilty to the crimes of which he stands accused and attempts to prove Emily’s possession was real.

The prosecution however are entirely convinced that Emily Rose suffered from epilepsy and psychosis which would have explained her behaviour.
