Posting a sweet snap of her family on Instagram for VE day, Charlotte added the caption:

“Raising a glass this VE Day from our family to yours. 75 years on, such a huge thank you to all those who fought on our behalf. We would not be here without you & owe you such a debt of gratitude. Today may not have seen the public events we would have all wished for, our generation can never truly understand just what you went through for us, but you are all in our thoughts & prayers. This is our specially decorated back garden tent… the HRH in our family has decided we are all camping out tonight to mark the occasion!”

Her Charity Work

Being involved with several charities, she is a patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Ellenor Hospice. She is also an ambassador for Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens.

Most recently, on Father’s Day, Charlotte posted a touching tribute to her father Frank who sadly passed away in 2015 from motor neurone disease.

Fashion, Royal Ascot and Instagram Live

Charlotte Hawkins is quite the fashion icon and posting snaps of her designer dresses, Charlotte gives us some serious style envy.

During the Coronavirus lockdown, Charlotte Hawkins has adapted to working from home. Whereas normally, Charlotte would be at the Ascot Races covering the event.

However, as the event is taking place behind closed doors, the journalist has to adapt to covering the racing from her house.

Naturally, she was all dressed for the occasion, completing her job from the comfort of her own home.

Using Instagram live to discuss all things Ascot, Charlotte Hawkins and Mark Heyes talk about fashion, tips, outfits and cocktails.
