Molly Moorish is the long-lost daughter of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, conceived during his affair with singer Lisa Moorish back in the nineties.

Liam Gallagher met his daughter Molly Moorish (21) for the first time a couple of years ago after two decades of no contact. Since their reportedly emotional reunion, the pair have got close, with Molly developing relationships with Liam’s other sons Lennon (19) and Gene (17).

Liam Claims That He Felt Molly Was ‘Best Off With Her Mum’

Liam previously told GQ magazine that he and her mum Lisa didn’t ‘work’ which made having a relationship with their daughter difficult:

‘The kid I haven’t seen. But if I met her, she’d be cool. She’s welcome in my world, without a doubt, but I just ain’t met her, because her mam’s . . . listen, we don’t work. We don’t get on.

‘[I’ve] got no problem with the girl whatsoever. I bought them a house and all that tack. I just think she’s best off with her mum. If it happens, it happens. Certainly, wouldn’t turn her away. Let it be.’

Liam Reunited With Daughter Molly Moorish In May 2018 After Two Decades Of No Contact

Molly Moorish and Liam Gallagher, alongside his fiancée Debbie Gwyther, met in a pub for the first time in 2018. The 21-year-old revealed what it was like meeting her rocker dad for the first time:

‘We went to the pub and got on so well. For the build-up, I was not really thinking about it. Then, for the first five minutes, I was like, “Oh, this is weird,” and then it just was fine.’

After Liam met Molly, the pair have became close and appear to have solidified their father-daughter bond. The rocker has even gone on to write a song in honour of his daughter – a track called ‘Now That I’ve Found You’.

Molly Doesn’t ‘Look Back In Anger’ At Father Liam

Questioned on whether she resented her famous dad for his absence for so many years, surprisingly Molly seems to have moved past it and embraces the newfound relationship with her father and brothers Gene and Lennon. She revealed to the The Sunday Times magazine that:

‘You can’t live in the past, you just have to draw the line and get stuck in with some super love going forward.

‘I’m actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life’s been. I wouldn’t be who I am now if . . . it’s all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I’m happy to have him now.’
