Liam Claims That He Felt Molly Was ‘Best Off With Her Mum’

Liam previously told GQ magazine that he and her mum Lisa didn’t ‘work’ which made having a relationship with their daughter difficult:

‘The kid I haven’t seen. But if I met her, she’d be cool. She’s welcome in my world, without a doubt, but I just ain’t met her, because her mam’s . . . listen, we don’t work. We don’t get on.

‘[I’ve] got no problem with the girl whatsoever. I bought them a house and all that tack. I just think she’s best off with her mum. If it happens, it happens. Certainly, wouldn’t turn her away. Let it be.’

Molly Doesn’t ‘Look Back In Anger’ At Father Liam

Questioned on whether she resented her famous dad for his absence for so many years, surprisingly Molly seems to have moved past it and embraces the newfound relationship with her father and brothers Gene and Lennon. She revealed to the The Sunday Times magazine that:

‘You can’t live in the past, you just have to draw the line and get stuck in with some super love going forward.

‘I’m actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life’s been. I wouldn’t be who I am now if . . . it’s all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I’m happy to have him now.’
