No Excuses

Since gyms were forced to shut their doors following the outbreak of Corona, people have been getting creative with their home workouts.

Not just to keep physically fit, whilst locked inside, but also to really aid mental health as well. The great thing about home workouts is in the name- you can literally roll out of bed in to a workout.

You don’t have the faff off having to look presentable or getting to the gym- just stick some gym gear on and you’re ready.

Mark Wright Workout Who’s He Had On?

Since most of us have lost our busy schedules, it means using limited time as an excuse not to workout is now void. Just because we’re in lockdown it doesn’t mean you HAVE to workout, but if you’re wanting to lose weight that seems to have creeped on since lockdown began, then Mark is your man!

He’s currently going live on his Instagram every morning at 10am, with a different guest each day. So far, he’s put stars from Tyson Fury to The Saturday’s star Mollie King through their paces.

Mark Wright Workout: For Body And Mind

Mark’s workouts are ultimately aimed at weight loss and toning up- something a lot of us could benefit from off the back of all those extra lockdown snacks.

Not only is it necessary to keep our bodies moving for physical health, but even more so for mental health at the minute. Having more time on your hands combined with the complete lifestyle change can be mentally challenging, so a quick release of endorphins is welcomed now more than ever.

He’s Not The Only One At It!

Mark’s not the only celeb to have adapted to this new way of training, he joins others including Joe Wicks, Rio and Kate Ferdinand and celeb PT Bradley Simmonds. You don’t have to look far on Insta these days to stumble across a live workout!

As well as Instagram, there’s also endless pre-recorded videos of home workouts on Youtube. Many require no equipment and usually about 20 minutes of your time. And, failing that- you can always make your own up! But, especially for beginners, it’s helpful to have people like Mark to join in with and encourage you to keep going.

Mark is a keen fitness fanatic himself, but since lockdown Mark shared more of that with his followers:

“As we have all been told to stay home, I wanted to share with you how I’ve adapted my normal gym session for an at home workout. I think everyone is probably feeling quite anxious at the moment, I know I definitely am but for me doing a workout really helps to relieve that feeling. I promise this workout will get your heart pumping, you’ll feel the burn and it will boost your mood.”

Mark Wright Workout: What Are The Workouts Like?

The ex TOWIE star tends to favour Hiit workouts on his social media, which involve short bursts of high intensity, followed by rest periods.

Given that most people don’t have a home gym, kitted out with weights, he’s very much tailored his workouts to being equipment free. There really are no excuses, when all you need is yourself and some water. We wish there were some though…

A Home Gym Helps…

Mark and wife Michelle Keegan are, clearly, in to their fitness and are both often pictured out and about in activewear. Relatable, but the difference is these two probably aren’t just wearing them for comfort- they actually probably worked out!

Something that makes it easier for them is their home gym- you just can’t make as many excuses when you’ve literally got a gym at your fingertips!

But, It’s Not Necessary

We have no doubt this pair will have been putting it to use even more so during lockdown. It might be a luxury, but it’s not a necessity for a good workout; you can get a good sweat on with no dumbbells in sight!
