Francesca Banjo was also a dancer, and was part of the dance troupe Out Of The Shadows. They were making big waves, often representing big brands like Adidas and River Island.

They’re definitely up there in our not-so-long list of celebrities who have been together pass the 10-year mark. The pair have been together for 13 years!
After dating for eight years, the dancers exchanged their vows and tied the knot in Essex in 2015, with many famous faces attending their lovely ceremony.
Not so soon after in 2018, the Diversity star posted a picture of himself alongside wife Francesca with a baby scan and tiny pink converse shoes!

“I am so excited to finally share the news that we are having a baby!”

Recently, amidst all the negative news during the coronavirus pandemic, Ashley Banjo and his wife Francesca shared that they are expecting baby no. 2!

The Dancing on Ice Judge Ashley Banjo excitedly gushed:
“It’s a good job we like surprises! Baby number 2 is officially in the mum oven ladies and gents and I feel so blessed and excited our little family is growing.”
At the same time, proud mummy Francesca also shared their cute family picture with the caption:
“So baby number 2 is officially pending! And as said we feel very lucky that our family is growing and that we have been blessed with this little surprise!”
They shared the news to the public in December, when the first news of the deadly pandemic was just beginning.
Together with the joyful news, the couple were also worried about bringing a baby into the current world situation.
The Diversity star posted a picture captioning:
“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried… a baby due in a couple of weeks, in what is likely to be moving towards the peak of what’s to come. Rose is still only 1 and me and @francescabanjo will be on our own with both of them in isolation for safety. No doubt it’s going to be tough…”
And understandably so!

The proud father posted a picture with caption:
“On Thursday the 26th March at 6.45pm our son came into the world weighing a healthy 8lbs 15oz. His name is Micah Grace Banjo.”
Among celebrities who congratulated the new parents was Banjo’s brother and Diversity member Jordan Banjo who wrote:
“Something incredible in these dark times bro. So proud of you both! And of course already love my new little nephew.”
Jordan currently presents BBC One’s new talent show, The Greatest Dancer alongside Alesha Dixon, who also congratulated the proud parents.
Despite the difficult journey, days after welcoming their second son, Ashley and Francesca’s little family are doing just fine!
