At the time of appearing on BGT, many of the members were still in school or university. The group consisted of friends from east London and included four sets of brothers and three other members.

After giving birth in a London hospital during the current Coronavirus pandemic, Ashley explained how the couple decided to isolate for a week away from their daughter Rose in order to limit the possibility of spreading the virus.

The dancer said:

“When Micah was born, @francescabanjo and I took the very difficult decision to come back from the hospital and self isolate away from Rose with little Micah for a week. Micah was born at a central London hospital full of activity and we couldn’t risk bringing the virus home and all of us getting ill at once whilst Chess is still in recovery.

“Then not being able to ask for help from family members for fear of them getting ill from coming into contact with us. But in the next few days I can’t wait to get her back (as long we don’t develop symptoms) and let her meet her little brother for the first time.”
