The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star is in intensive care with concussion, broken ribs and a ruptured spleen following a severe snowboarding accident, and while he admitted things weren’t great a few days ago, he is improving every day.

Speaking in a video from his hospital bed, he said:

‘I haven’t been on social media for the last few days. I took a turn for the worst.

‘I couldn’t function much. The last thing that was said was from my mum.

‘But I’m getting better, day by day. I’m still in intensive care. I’ve still got a lot of wires stuck to me.

‘They operated and put an incision through my rib cage just above my lungs. Made a puncture just above my lungs.

‘In just over three days or two days, it’s drained about 950 milliliters of blood. Which is apparently a lot of blood to be sitting around your lungs.

‘But we’re good!’

Myles has thanked fans for their support throughout the ordeal, and urged his supporters to “love life” after he came “too close to death”.

Speaking on a video uploaded to his Instagram account, he added:

‘This is just a quick message to say thank you to everyone who’s been messaging.

‘I’ve been told that everyone has been asking about me. I’m going to get better people! And just love life, because I came too close to death.

‘If I hadn’t listened to my mum, thank God for listening to her, and going to the hospital. Who knows what would have happened? That alone took 12 hours.

‘The moral of the story is, always listen to people that know more than you do.

‘If you have a gut instinct – follow it!

‘Just tuning into you guys to say I love you. I’ll see you soon. Peace’.

The 28-year-old Rak-Su singer – who competed on the last series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2019 – has been on holiday at the El Pas de la Casa, a ski resort in Andorra near the border with France, and suffered the catalogue of injuries on the slopes.

Speaking last week, he said:

‘Hey – what up people? I look a bit worse for wear, don’t I? Basically, I broke a few ribs, I ruptured my spleen and have some internal bleeding. That has stopped now, so I’m just chilling here on ICU – it’s like a five-star ICU – it’s amazing.

‘Thank you for all your messages, guys. My mum and the rest of my family are getting me through this. I’m counting my blessings day in, day out. Always tell your loved ones you love them. Peace’.
