Who Is Keith Lemon?

Keith Lemon is a character portrayed by Leigh Francis, an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer and former caricaturist. He was born in Beeston, Leeds, far from the worst cities in UK.

In Loving Memory Of His Friends and Colleague Caroline Flack

As his fans may already know, Keith worked with Caroline Flack in her early career. In fact, the two artists were working on Bo’ Selecta! That was the time when Flack was starting her brilliant career in the showbiz as an actress.

After the tragic death of Caroline, the comedian shared a touching tribute to his late friend.

Back in 2008, Caroline wrote about her friend Keith for The Independent, saying:

“Leigh is so spontaneous. I had a part as Bubbles in Bo’ Selecta! and I always wanted to work with a script but he taught me how to work without one. He also taught me how to be myself and relax more in front of the camera.”

Caroline died in February 2020 at the age of 40. As confirmed by her family, she took her life, following a difficult period of her life and after being arrested and charged with assaulting her boyfriend. She was banned from contacting her partner, and she also had to stand down from winter Love Island. Consequently, she saw receiving hate messages on her social, although her boyfriend did not want to pursue the charges.

And He’s Now Planning To Do Even More

A few days later, he wrote another post about Flack to celebrate the loving memory of his friends by planning a festival dedicated to her. He also shows his idea of a T-shirt with a design showing a black and white picture of Caroline and the words “be kind”. The slogan has risen to popularity since the woman took her life a couple of weeks ago.

Allegedly, Keith is now producing the T-shirts and keep planning his festival. He will soon let us now more details, including how to help him and which mental health charity the proceeds will support.

Recently, Keith has used his Instagram account to celebrate his famous Celebrity Juice co-host, Holly Willoughby, in honor of her 39th birthday. He shared a selfie with his 1.5 million followers, expressing his love and esteem for his friend and colleague.

Holly was later surprised with a unicorn-shaped cake, offered by her colleagues at Dancing On Ice, who joined her party on Sunday night.
