The I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here star and her fiancé Daniel Day welcomed their daughter Demelza Eira into the world on January 4.

She shared on Instagram:

‘It’s a little girl !!! thank you so much everyone for your patience and wonderful, kind messages – we are all doing really well! Just lapping up every second with this little lady (sic)’.

And Amy admits it has been “truly life-changing” giving birth to her little girl.

She explained:

‘This last week has been incredible. We’ve been on lockdown, just lapping her up and taking it all in. It feels as though time has stopped because it’s just us and our little baby in the cave we’ve built.

‘Having a first baby is truly life-changing. Some people have asked, “I bet you can’t wait for her to walk and talk?” No, no, no. I just want to love every stage’.

Amy was devastatingly robbed while walking along Oxford Street on January 2 and she feels the shock of the event brought on her labour.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said:

‘I felt someone put their hand in my pocket and my phone, with all my birth preparation – voice notes, a birthing playlist, my plan to get through early labour – was gone. None of it was backed up. I began crying my eyes out. I was devastated.

‘That night, my waters broke in bed at 1am and within two hours, I was having three contractions every ten minutes. Two midwives came and things progressed really quickly, but as the pain built up, labour slowed down’.
