Walters’ relationship with husband Grant Roffey, an Automobile Association patrolman, began after a whirlwind romance. The couple has a daughter, Maisie Mae Roffey (born 26 April 1988), but did not marry until 1997, when they went to New York City. The couple now live on an organic farm run by Roffey near Plaistow, West Sussex!
