How Old Is She And What’s Her Story?
Born on 19 February 1972, Lisa Faulkner is a 47-year-old TV personality; she’s also worked as an actress, a presenter and a telly chef.
Lisa was born and lived for most of her childhood in South West London, near Kingston. Sadly, she lost her mum to cancer when she was only 16. Shortly after her tragic loss, Lisa was scouted by a modelling agency which catapulted her career and she ended up acting in TV dramas.

Lisa’s EastEnders Career…
The actress played the savvy businesswoman Fi Browning in the soap, helping Max Branning to take revenge against the Albert Square residents back in 2017.
But Lisa’s role in the BBC soap was short-lived – Fi left Walford just after Christmas the same year she joined the soap, when she found out that her father James Willmott-Brown had betrayed her by handing the ownership of the cafe back to Kathy Beale.
What Else Has Lisa Acted In?
Lisa’s most recognised role was in Holby City, where she played Victoria Merrick between 1999-2001. Despite being a popular character on the show, Victoria was ruthlessly stabbed to death in her house.
She’s also appeared in other TV series including Murder in Suburbia, Brookside and New Street Law.

What Else Has Lisa Done?
After appearing on (and winning!) Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, Lisa started to focus on cooking shows, including Channel 4’s What’s Cooking?.
Weeks after her MasterChef win, Lisa started working in Smiths of Smithfield, John Torode’s London restaurant.
When it comes to cooking, Lisa doesn’t stop at TV. She created a cookery book called Recipes from my Mother for my Daughter, as well as writing two more: The Way I Cook and Tea & Cake.
When Did Lisa And John Start Dating?
In case you hadn’t already guessed, Lisa first met now-husband John Torode when she took part in Celebrity MasterChef. But it wasn’t until 2012, two years after the show had finished, that Lisa and the Australian-native first started dating.

When the cooking show was being filmed, Lisa was married to colleague and EastEnders’ actor Chris Coghill; the pair also had an adopted daughter together called Billie.
Lisa and Chris divorced in 2012 and just six months later, Lisa’s relationship with John went public.
When Did They Get Engaged?
On Christmas Day in 2018, John asked Lisa to marry him. after a year of wedding planning, the pair recently tied the knot in Aynhoe Park, Northamptonshire.

Lisa and John shared a series of adorable wedding snaps and they enjoyed the day with their VIP friends.
On Lisa Faulkner’s Instagram, she shared a photo in her white gown with the caption:
“The happiest day of my life!!! Cue the wedding spam for the next few weeks!Yesterday I married the man of my dreams @johntorodecooks and we had the BEST Day EVER, filled with all our family and friends and such Love.”
Included in the celebrity guests were Coronation Street’s Charlie Condou, BGT’s Amanda Holden and, of course, John’s Masterchef partner Gregg Wallace was in attendance with his wife Anne-Marie.
