It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: a shiny new series of TOWIE is on the Essex horizon and it comes with a bunch of brand new gossip, mugging off, swerving and aggy behaviour…

When Did It Return?
Towie returned to ITVBe on September 1st and will (thankfully) continue on a weekly basis for about 10-11 weeks of gossip bliss.
What Happened In Season 24?
And of course, we’ve not forgotten about the awkward love triangle between Chloe Simms, Dan Edgar and Amber Turner – not to mention the drama that came with it.
By the end of the series, it appeared that Dan wanted some time to live his best single life, but if Insta is anything to go by – and we’re pretty sure it is – he went back to Amber Turner very quickly.
What Will Happen On Season 25?
In a teaser of the show, Chloe Sims is heard asking:
“Are you a liar?”
A few moments before Amber says:
“He’s been dishonest to her and dishonest to me.”
Dan’s love triangle has also been interfering with his friendships as he’s seen begging one of his friends not to fall out with him.
Meanwhile, Gemma Collins is (thankfully) well and truly back, after missing out on last season because of her stint in Dancing On Ice. She’ll be cheering up friend Chloe Sims while getting involved in the Essex goss – and would we expect anything less from the diva?
Who’s Part of The Only Way Is Essex Cast (New Series)?
Earlier this year, we saw some major cast changes in the TOWIE bunch – with loads of OGs including Chloe Lewis, Myles Barnett and Jon Clark axed from the series. In the place of the oldies came a whole host of newbies including Kelsey Stratford, Chloe and Clare Brockett, Joey Turner, Harry Lee, Jayden Beales, Tom McDonnell and Ella-Rae Wise.
As well as the new comers, some of the oldies are back for series 25 including Yazmin Oukhellou and James Lock.

Here are The Only Way Is Essex cast (new series) members – and a little bit about them to help you keep on top of all the Essex drama:
Olivia Attwood
Series 25 is only recently underway and things have already kicked off the the Love Island star. The 28-year-old reality star clashed with Courtney in an explosive bust up which saw Olivia call Courtney a ‘pig’ and was removed off set by TOWIE security.
Olivia made her debut on the first episode of the series and has already rubbed many castmates up the wrong way with her feisty attitude.
A cameraman revealed:
“The cameras haven’t even started rolling yet and half the cast have fallen out.
“One minute everyone had been enjoying welcome drinks on the first night and the next all hell had broken lose.”
“Liv and Chloe Meadows started arguing, a few seconds later Courtney got involved and called Liv ‘trashy’.
“She retaliated by trying to throw olives in her direction. A screaming Liv was then dragged away by security as she shouted insults at Courtney.
“She was then given a warning by production to calm down.”

Chloe and Clare Brockett
Series 24 of the show saw Chloe and Clare Brockett join the cast a few episodes in, we saw lots of the mum-and-daughter-duo. Chloe’s mum had a lot more luck in love than her 18 year old daughter and they’re both back for series 25.
Last series, Clare dated Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell, who is 12 years younger than her. Although age was just a number, things didn’t work out with the couple.

Clelia Theodorou
Glamour model Clelia joined TOWIE in 2018 with best pal Shelby Tribble. The former Miss Great Britain has previously modelled for Rebellious Fashion and Luxe To Kill. Last episode, former BFFs Clelia and Shelby shared more angry words as they fail the clear the air between them after falling out over Shelby’s lack of support for Clelia following split from her boyfriend.

Ella Rae Wise
Ella was another newcomer to series 24 – the eighteen-year-old is a hairdresser from Essex and regular at Faces nightclub. She and long term boyfriend Jack McDermott claim they’re the power couple of Essex (we can’t wait to see what Tommy and Georgia have to say about that…).

Courtney Green
Courtney first joined the show in 2016 and has caused her fair share of drama since her TOWIE debut. There were those spats with Dani and then there was that feud with Georgia. Oh and now there’s that beef with Megan McKenna…

TOWIE’s power couple are yet to experience any drama on the show this year – still, there’s plenty of time to go…

Saffron Lempriere
Originally cast for a one off episode, the GC’s BFF Saffron will make more appearances in the 25th series alongside her diva pal.

Yazmin Oukhellou and James Lock
Yaz and ex James Lock returned to the show this year after being axed from the last series. The couple announced their separation this year after rumours emerged that James had cheated on Yazmin on holiday.

Chloe Meadows
The drama has already started for Chloe as at the cast’s welcome drinks earlier this series, Chloe was involved in the argument between Courtney and Olivia that saw Olivia pelting olives in their direction. When it comes to romance, Chloe hasn’t had much luck either.
When she first joined the show, she had a smooch with Mike Hassini, before being linked to Jon Clark from the show and Geordie Shore star Marty McKenna. She’s now settled down with boyfriend George Wales.

Dan Edgar
Much to our viewing pleasure, Dan Edgar and girlfriend Amber Turner have returned to TOWIE to face the wrath of Chloe Sims and her family following the drama in Thailand.

Gemma Collins
The GC is definitely not everyone’s cuppa, but you can’t deny that she brings sass, drama and diva behaviour everywhere she treads. From the moment the bootilicious TOWIE star stole away her plentiful ‘candy’ from the gutted James Argent to that feud with Fearne McCann, we’ve no doubt that the GC will produce a bunch of hilarious moments in her return to the series this season.

Bobby Norris
Gemma’s BFF Bobby has been part of the show since its fourth series, and he’s often seen with together with the GC. Thankfully, our Bob is back for season 25!

Shelby Tribble
Shelby joined the cast in 2018 and quickly got together with heartthrob Pete Wicks, much to the annoyance of ex-GF Megan Mckenna. The couple called time on their relationship in 2018 after a series of rows.
Shel’s since moved on from Pete and is in a relationship with co-star Sam Mucklow.
