Mindy Drake And Josh: What Does She Look Like Now?

Mindy Crenshaw from Drake and Josh was Josh’s intelligent, constantly-bragging girlfriend – but what is actress Allison Scagliotti up to now?

Who on earth could forget Drake and Josh? AKA the best show on Nickelodeon. Nay. On television.

Living in San Diego with Drake’s mother and Josh’s father (and of course… Megan) the step brothers were more than polar opposites.

Drake was cool, a musician who was pretty much idolised by all his schoolmates. Josh, however, was a bit more well-read, clumsy and found dating pretty damn difficult. (Don’t we all.)

Enter Mindy.

Mindy Crenshaw was intelligent but boastful, always beating Josh at the Science Fair.

But eventually, Mindy spills the beans that she actually has a crush on Josh. Josh likes Mindy too. So what choice do they have but to start dating?

Oh, high school.

Josh and Mindy’s relationship was more on-again-off-again than my fridge light after 9pm. But really, they were pretty damn cute.

As much as we think that our fave childhood actors never age, I’m afraid they’re actually human just like the rest of us. IKR. I’m shook.

Allison Scagliotti is no exception to this law of nature but damn has she grown up well. And boys if you’re reading, she’s SINGLE.

Since her days on the Nickelodeon screen, Allison has done pretty well for herself moving from series to series into more significant roles.

She said:

“I’ve been really lucky to play sort of a diverse array of characters over my relatively short career, although it feels really long.”

Her next big series was Warehouse 13, playing Claudia Donovan.

When asked if she was a fan of science fiction, she said explained:

“Sci-Fi was never really my niche, besides the standard devotion to Star Wars and idolizing Sigourney Weaver. When I watched this pilot before I auditioned I was hooked on it because while it is this fantasy show there is this balance of some comedy, and sexual tension between the leads, it’s just really fun to watch.”

She also appeared as Georgie Dowling in The Vampire Diaries.

Between 2015-2017, Allison went on to play Camille in the TV series Stitchers, a gifted computer scientist who assists her roommate Kirsten in her role as a ‘stitcher’.

Aside from her acting career, Allison has actually shown a pretty huge interest in music!

Although she studied film at New York University, Allison never finished her degree instead graduating from Berklee College of Music in May 2019.

The star was also in a band called ‘Nice Enough People’ with no other than her Drake and Josh co star Jerry Trainer (Crazy Steve!).

They all might have grown up but that doesn’t mean they’ve grown apart. My. heart.

Earlier this year, Allison released her first solo music under the name “La Femme Pendu’.

With songs in French, Allison described the music as:

“French lounge horror ballads, the demonic feminine in heavy reverb. For feminists, film freaks, and creatures of the night. Best listened to under a full moon.”

A scroll down Allison’s Insta shows how much the girl loves a gothic/witchy/Addams Family Vibe. And I don’t hate it.

Anyone else need to listen to that album like right now?

Changing from being on the camera to being behind it, Allison has turned her attention to producing, directing and writing.

She was a writer and producer for short The Cards and is currently directing Henry Danger which is shown on Nickelodeon. It’s like she’s gone full circle back to where it all started.

With an estimated net worth of $3 million, Allison has definitely been pretty successful. Not bad, eh?
