Love Island Michael Griffiths: Everything You Need To Know

Love island 2019 has kicked off with a bang as this year’s Love Island stars enter the villa. But just who is Mr Michael Griffiths?

This firefighter had a pretty sizzling start to the villa as he was welcomed with surfer girl Lucie Donlan stepping forward to gain his attention and with Lucie being the girl who seems to have caught every guy’s eye, what choice did he have but to couple up with her.

But, this is Love Island after all and sadly the firefighter got burnt when Lucie decided to step forward for her curly-haired ‘type’ Joe Garrat. Ouch.

After being put on the subs bench for a brief period, Michael was coupled up with the Last Girl Standing; Yewande.

This Liverpudlian describes himself as a “straight-talking guy” who always tells it how it is.

In a totally modest way, he rates his looks out of ten and has said he will stop at nothing to get the islander of his dreams.

“I get complimented on my smile a lot. People seem to be obsessed with my lips. I’d rate myself ten out of ten, I would have said nine but I’m a hero so it bumps it up.”

His perfect partner is someone who has a brain behind the looks and who he can have a conversation with.

They have to have a bit of banter and not take themselves too seriously and of course, have a ‘nice bum’.

He said:

“I’m a hero! I’m a firefighter, who doesn’t want their own firefighter? Their own local hero.”

He Has A Degree In Bio-Medical Sciences

Getting to know his current partner Yewande – who has a degree in bio-medical technology.

Michael graduated with his degree before deciding to change his career path to save lives with the emergency services.

He Cheated On His Past Girlfriend

Michael explained how he has been in previous long-term relationships and had about four or five girlfriends in total.

“I’ve been cheated on plenty of times but I am loyal. I think I’ve cheated once but it was more of a revenge cheat. I’ve been loyal to all of them apart from one.”

We’re all familiar with Anton’s wandering eye but could Michael have the same affliction?

When talking about how he’ll act in the villa, he explained:

“If I like somebody then I’ll go for it. There’s not really anything that could stop me.

“Everybody I meet will be a new person so they’re not going to be my best mate, so if a girl I’m speaking to is coupled up and we get on, I’m still going to talk to her.
